19th December 2023

What a magical evening we had last week at our carol concert. The music and readings were enchanting, and it was wonderful to see so many people come and support the event. We’re delighted to announce that the concert raised an incredible £6,996 for BeyondAutism.

The evening began with a wonderful solo from a member of Hornsby House Choir to start off Once in Royal David’s City before a welcome from BeyondAutism Chair of Trustees, Angus Johnston. More brilliant carols and readings followed before words from Founder and Patron, Karen Sorab. A joyous rendition of Hark! the Herald Angels Sing brought the concert to a close before guests enjoyed a glass of wine and some mince pies. Guests were also give the opportunity to donate towards our Tree of Promises, purchasing much-needed items for our services.

A big thank you to our fantastic musicians from Celestia Music and Hornsby House, and to Issy van Randwyck for her readings. Thanks also to our sponsors; Savills Clapham, Zest Events, Roundhouse Design and Jacinta O’Neill without whom, the event wouldn’t have been possible.

We’d also like to thank our volunteer helpers from Octopus and everyone involved in helping to make the event such a success.
