Strategy
We are preparing for a bold new chapter.
In September 2025, BeyondAutism will launch its next organisational strategy—building on everything we’ve achieved to date and setting out an ambitious vision for the future.
Shaped by the voices of autistic individuals, families, professionals and partners, our new strategy will take us further: deepening our impact, strengthening our partnerships, and driving systemic change. It will reflect our continued commitment to creating a world where autistic people access education and opportunity on their own terms.
Until then, we remain focused on delivering the goals set out in our 2020–2025 strategy. These objectives have guided our work over the past five years, influencing how we support autistic children and young adults, work alongside their families, and equip professionals to remove barriers to inclusion.
Our 2020-2025 strategic objectives
These five objectives continue to guide our work:
Reduced school placement breakdown
Empowering schools to manage behaviour and remove barriers to learning
Increased employability
With the skills and confidence to enter the work place, promoting independence and broadening opportunities
People with autism have the life skills to live their ideal week
Empowering choice, opportunity and independence
Increased resilience and confidence in families
Because families who are resilient, informed and confident make very different decisions, directly impacting the outcomes for their children
Communities are supported to include people with autism
Breaking the cycle of prejudice so that people with autism have choice and opportunity
Looking ahead
Our next strategy will launch in September 2025. It will define how we continue to grow, evolve, and lead change—amplifying autistic voices and ensuring that every learner can access a life of opportunity.
