Empowering People, Launching lives

The Autism Show

We had a wonderful experience at the Autism Show in June. From delivering our seminar on EBSA to the fantastic turnout to our stand, the show was full of great highlights. We gained insight from the guests, enjoyed hearing their different perspectives, and enjoyed the opportunity to share more information on our services and resources.

We’ll be back for the show in 2024 and hope to run our sell-out clinic again. Keep an eye out for more information coming soon.

When is The Autism Show?

Our seminar on Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

At the event in June, we spoke at the Hub Theatre 2 on ‘Emotionally based school avoidance: solutions to help’. The session looked at what contributes to autistic learners experiencing difficulties attending school before looking at the person-centred approaches and function-based interventions that can be implemented to increase attendance. The session had record numbers with estimates of over 170 people stopping to listen in.

If you’re interested in finding out more about EBSA take a look at our blog on the same topic. Or watch a recording of our Lunch and Learn below.

What is The Autism Show?
