Teaching and Learning Mentor (Graduate Programme)

Two Year Programme (Starting September 2024)

We are looking to appoint recent graduates or post-graduates, including those in the last year of their degree, who want to make a difference to the lives of autistic children and young adults.

You should have a degree in Psychology or a relevant post-graduate qualification and a commitment to expanding your skills in the field of Behaviour Analysis. A willingness to learn and play your role in a team is essential. Teaching and Learning Mentors work one-on-one with our young adults aged 19 – 25 mixing a blend of college Hub and community based development.

We are looking for Graduates who are:

  • Qualified to bachelor’s or master’s degree level in Psychology or a relevant post-graduate qualification
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experienced, fun and motivated
  • Passionate about improving the lives of autistic children and young adults and their families
  • Secure in using evidence-based practice to underpin motivating therapy activities.

  • Structured induction to our behaviour analysis based approaches and practices
  • Monthly professional development & mentoring Tailored training and support
  • The opportunity to be sponsored for a post-graduate qualification
  • Expert supervision, for those with master’s level qualifications, to help you achieve Behaviour Analyst certification
  • Developing work experience with children and young adults from 4 to 25

Location: Wandsworth and Hammersmith, London

Salary: £21,000 during probationary period, £21,750 once confirmed in post, £22,405 after 12 months of service

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
