Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year 2017/18

10th July 2017

We are delighted to announce that we have recently been selected as the Local Charity of the Year 2017/18 at Sainsbury’s Wandsworth Superstore on Garratt Lane! We were one of three charities to be shortlisted by the store before going to a public vote. Voting took place in the last two weeks of June online and in store. The charity already has a link with the store as several of our Sixth Form students have a work experience placement there each week and we are thrilled to be extending this relationship.

In other exciting news Sainsbury’s St. John’s Hill have retained us as their Local Charity of the Year for the fourth year running! Again we were part of a three-charity shortlist and the vote took place in store. Over the past four years the St. John’s Hill store has supported us in a multitude of ways and they have donated over £4,000 to the charity. This money has been used in a variety of ways everywhere from capital appeals to purchasing costumes for the school’s Nativity play!

Thank you to everyone who voted for us in both stores, we are very grateful for your support.
