BeyondAutism 2030 is our organisational strategy, setting out how we will build on 25 years of practice to extend our impact nationally.
Grounded in what works in our schools, services and outreach, the strategy focuses on inclusion through understanding, ensuring autistic learners are supported to access education and shape their own futures.
Shaped by autistic learners, families, practitioners and partners, BeyondAutism 2030 reflects both lived experience and evidence from across the sector.
Why this strategy matters
When Munawar joined our Early Years service, his family were running out of hope. Communication was limited and daily life felt unsafe.
Months later, everything had changed. Munawar was engaging, communicating and safer. His family described the difference as “finally being able to breathe”.
Stories like Munawar’s show what is possible with the right support at the right time. Across the UK, too many autistic learners are excluded from education because systems lack the tools, confidence or understanding to include them well.
BeyondAutism exists to change that.
Our focus to 2030
- Become a leading provider of autism education in the country
- Enable parents, carers and families to engage in their children’s education and feel empowered to act
- Equip practitioners with the tools to include, not exclude autistic children and young adults
- Inform and influence national thinking on autism education
