Development Associate (Graduate Programme 18-24 months)

Full-time, 18-24 months

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of marketing, communications, fundraising, and admissions activity across BeyondAutism while participating in a structured graduate development programme. As Development Associate, you will play a key role in supporting priority projects, campaigns, and operational activity across the Department of Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising.

You will contribute to the coordination and delivery of cross-departmental activity, providing flexible support across campaigns, content development, stakeholder engagement, and organisational processes. Using strong organisational and communication skills, you will support the planning, preparation, and delivery of materials and initiatives, ensuring activity is well-coordinated and aligned with departmental priorities.

You will also support fundraising and partnership activity, marketing and communications campaigns, and admissions processes, gaining broad exposure across core functions. Alongside this, you will participate in a structured development pathway designed to build practical skills in communications, engagement, and income generation, with increasing responsibility over the course of the programme.

Who we are looking for

  • A dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who shares our mission of improving outcomes for autistic children and young people.
  • A strong communicator with good organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a range of projects and activities.
  • Someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with an interest in marketing, communications, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement, and a desire to build a career within the charity, education, or social impact sector.

We are particularly seeking applications from people that represent the diversity of our community.

BeyondAutism is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An enhanced disclosure will be conducted for the successful applicant to enable them to work with children and young adults.
