Parallel: Supersensory 1K
In July 2024 we are bringing together a team of supporters, staff, learners and families to join us in taking part in an inclusive and fun challenge. Held in the grounds of the majestic Windsor Great Park and staged on the iconic Long Walk, Parallel Windsor is a festival of inclusivity with challenge events for all ages, health conditions and abilities.

SuperSensory 1K Parallel’s innovative SuperSensory 1K, empowers participants with profound and multiple learning disabilities to exercise their senses over a series of challenges such as engaging with sound, taste, touch, and smell. Walk, push or run – there are no cut off times. ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever’. Everybody who starts gets a medal, t-shirt and goody bag.

Fundraising target The cost of a ticket is covered by BeyondAutism and we ask that each participant raises £150. All proceeds will go towards ensuring that autistic people access an education that empowers them to lead a life of choice and opportunity.
Features of the festival The fully accessible festival, offers a huge range of activities and entertainment. Music, Arts and Play, Community and Lifestyle, Storytelling, and Cookery to name a few. The Active Lifestyle and Inclusive Sport area, offers adaptive sports to try out, including netball, football, rugby, laser tag more. Plus, enjoy delicious world foods, coffee, and a picnic area for some well-earned down time. Parallel Windsor has on-site parking, accessible toilets (including RevoLOOs), medical support, sensory space and quiet space. All support and assistance animals are welcome.
