For the past few years we have given parents the option to make a donation towards a staff appreciation fund, in lieu of individual staff gifts at Christmas. We now have over 200 teaching staff across the organisation, which can make collective efforts to thank them at year-end and Christmas expensive, and also time-consuming. We’ve had very positive feedback from parents over past years and a very generous response.

As with last year, any contributions to the staff appreciation fund will be designated to the Staff Committee (a Staff-led body with representatives from across the organisation) in collaboration with the Head of Service to spend on wellbeing initiatives that benefit staff throughout the year. Examples might include purchasing treats and goodies for staff, organising social events (when possible!), regular fresh fruit deliveries- the possibilities are endless!

Please note that making a contribution is entirely optional – our staff teams are truly grateful for all the thanks and support you give them throughout the year, so although donations or gifts are of course most welcome, they are not expected.

All donations will be processed by the fundraising department and treated as strictly anonymous – no details will be disclosed to staff or parents, other than the total amount raised.
