Tram House School Grand Opening

Yesterday evening saw the Grand Opening of Tram House School. We held a gathering for donors, fundraisers and benefactors to thank them for their support of the redevelopment of the building.

Tracie Linehan, CEO, and Karen Sorab, Founder and Chair of Trustees, spoke at the event to thank everyone for their role in the Tram House Appeal and the build.

Following a drinks and canape reception, guests were invited on a tour of the new facilities led by members of the school team. There was also an art exhibition in the Art & DT room, displaying pieces of artwork created by our pupils through the year that showcase their talents with different media.

We were delighted to welcome John Tilley and Ann Tilley to officially open the school. Their father, Jack, was the owner of the original Tram House and was the man who initially leased the property to the charity back in 2002 giving us our first permanent home.

We are extremely grateful for the support that everyone has shown throughout the redevelopment of Tram House and we are excited for the decades of teaching that will take place in this fantastic new school.
