Partnership with Swaffield School

We’re so excited about our partnership with one of our local schools – Swaffield Primary School in Earlsfield. Over the last six months we have been working closely with them: one of our lower school students spends an afternoon a week at the school in their Year 1 class to work on peer relationships and gain experience in a mainstream school, and one of our trainee teachers is currently undertaking a six week placement there in line with her Initial Teacher Training course with Rainbow School and the Institute of Education.

This week, as part of World Autism Awareness and Acceptance Week Today our Head of Lower School hosted assemblies for Swaffield pupils to help raise awareness of autism.
