This CPD-certified course offers a comprehensive understanding of autism in women and girls. It is designed for parents and professionals supporting young autistic women, whether at home, in school, or in the wider community.
The course explores key topics including gender differences in presentation, masking, co-occurring conditions, the school experience, and navigating puberty. It also includes practical strategies for support in both home and educational settings.
The course is self-paced and takes approximately 4 hours to complete.

By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand the differences between how autism can present itself in males and females
- Have explored co-occurring mental health conditions that can be more prevalent in autistic girls
- Have heard the lived school experience of autistic girls
- take away various strategies to support autistic girls, particularly around puberty and emotional wellbeing
