The Youth Intervention Centre is a service aimed at supporting young people and children through difficulties they may be facing. They can offer therapeutic interventions to young people aged 5 – 25 years old. They run counselling, workshops, clubs and offer school interventions, training and consultancy. The service aims to build young people’s resilience, allowing them greater emotional understanding and providing them with coping and calming strategies for a successful and bright future. The team has experience working with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, psychosis, suicidal thoughts, trauma, disassociation, low self-worth or self-esteem, self harm, mental health needs, anger and aggression, challenging behaviours, Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD & SID), Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and all other challenges and issues young people find themselves dealing with in the turbulent journey from childhood to adulthood.
