The Oak Foundation

The Wonderful Weekends learn, play and grow schemes are run by the Oak Foundation for children whose parents have caring responsibilities. The schemes run on Saturdays and Sundays 9:30am-4:30pm and operate during 45 of the 52 weeks each year. Activities include bowling, football, trips to local parks and leisure centres, visits to theme parks and theatres and fun in the sun at the seaside.
