The Dean Academy

The Dean Academy offers a broad and challenging curriculum to enable students to gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the world around them, with an inclusive approach, which is informed by the principle that a stimulating and personalised education is an entitlement for every child. There is a wide range of additional support including: teaching Assistant support in class; specialist teaching of English/literacy in small groups; specialist teaching of numeracy in small groups; targeted research based interventions for literacy and dyslexia; speech and language strategies; social skills groups; anger management groups; and alternative provision, intervention and support is monitored and reviewed regularly so that it remains effective.
