The Bruce Trust is a registered charity which provides specially-designed, purpose-built, wide-beam canal boats on the Kennet and Avon Canal for hire. They are appropriate for self-catering holidays by disabled, disadvantaged or elderly people and their carers. Training courses are available for people new to boating. The boats have lifts, transfer hoists, specially equipped bathrooms and joystick assisted steering.
