Stone with Woodford Playgroup (Village Hall)

Stone with Woodford Playgroup (Village Hall) works closely with Stone with Woodford Primary School who offer 12 school visits for the rising 5’s children spaced throughout their pre-school year. Playgroup staff are with the children for these sessions but the Reception Class teacher is highly involved.This Provider has signed Gloucestershire County Council’s Agreement to offer the free 15hrs for 2; 3 & 4 year olds and up to 30hrs of the free government entitlement for 3 & 4 year olds and take children from the age of 2 years. The following training to support children with SEND is offered: 2 Staff trained as SENCO; all staff trained in Makaton; 1 staff trained in BSL; and if a child came into the setting with a disability or difficulty in relation to SEN the group would go on the relevant appropriate training.
