Shared Lives is a care and support service for adults aged 18 and over who want to live independently in the community, with the support of a Shared Lives Carer. This support can also be delivered in the form of short breaks and day support. Often the short breaks offered are seen as an opportunity for a holiday for the individual. They provide support across the whole of Cumbria.
