SENDIASS Leicester formed in 1999 and offer free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support to parents and carers of young people aged 0-25 with SEND, as well as young people themselves. Their methods of support relate to Education, Health/Care Plans, (EHCP’s), local policy/practice, the Local Offer, completing paperwork and attending meetings to ensure the views of disabled people are heard.
