New Venture support internships

New Venture provides real work experience for Newcastle residents aged 16-24 years with learning difficulties and disabilities and/or autism on a supported internship programme. The residents will be fully supported within employment, across a variety of employments across Newcastle. New Venture also provides the opportunity to gain valuable employability skills with Newcastle City Learning. Interns with New Venture will: improve and develop skills; gain real work experience; build self-esteem, confidence and independence which can improve health and well-being; develop friendships and relationships leading to a positive, interactive social life; and expand their CVs.
