Nene Park Academy

Nene Park Academy opened on 1st September 2011, sponsored by Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust, making permanent the partnership with Swavesey Village College, an outstanding school near Cambridge with whom the predecessor school had been successfully working for 12 months. The partnership brings expertise, capacity, and proven systems and practices, underpinned by the highest expectations for achievement. SEND students within mainstream education are supported mainly through effective differentiation within lessons. Pastoral care is provided by house teams with the aim of maximising the opportunity for SEND students to be integrated as much as possible. Additional support is allocated according to need, with priority being given to those with EHCPs.
