Islington Early Years Area SENCO Team

The Islington Early Years Area SENCO Team works to improve the quality of provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities in early years settings across Islington’s maintained, voluntary, private and independent sectors.

They work with Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), staff and parents in settings, following the code of practice procedures. They also provide training on SEN issues – both centrally and in-house.
