Equine Therapy Center

The Equine Therapy Center has a growing team of affiliated non-equine counsellors and psychotherapists who work either as part of an equine assisted therapy (EAT) programme, or completely separately under their own specialisation. The service can offer individual 1-2-1 therapy that will enable a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential, safe and secure environment. Equine Assisted Therapy is practised with success in the treatment of mental health, emotional, behavioural and relationship issues, usually recommending a structured programme after initial assessment of between 8-12 sessions, evaluating every 6 sessions. The sessions are normally held weekly for between and hour and 90 minutes.
