Ellen Tinkham School

Ellen Tinkham is a special school for children and young people aged 3-19 years, who have severe learning disabilities. All their students have a statement of special educational needs. They are committed to putting the children at the centre of everything they do, through their approach to education. They listen to each other, celebrate each other’s strengths and acknowledge weaknesses and foster a climate of kindness and co-operation. Their pupils are empowered and given opportunities to participate in a more inclusive school and in the wider community.
