There is a Designated Doctor (DMO) for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SENDS) for Merton from the Paediatric team, at the St Helier Hospital, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The DMO is also supported by a Specialist Nurse (SN) for SENDS. The DMO is the NHS point of contact for local partner professionals providing services for children with SEN and disabilities.
