Conewood Children’s Centre

Conewood Children’s Centre offers full and part-time childcare as well as the full range of children’s centre services including stay and play sessions, health and family support services.

Their setting welcomes children with SEND and they are committed to working with parents and other professionals to provide good inclusive practice.

All of their staff have been trained on how to support children with speech and language delay and have had access to Attention Autism and Sensory Circuit training.

They have extensive experience of supporting and working with several children with severe and complex needs.

They conduct daily Attention Builder activities and carry out Sensory Circuits for children who have Autism. They also run daily language groups for children with speech and language delay.

They have access to the Social Communication Team, Speech and Language Therapist and the Educational Psychology Team.
