Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield – Complex Care Service

Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield supports many young children to attend SEND and Main Stream schools. The support staff are seamless in attending with a child and can be with them 1 to 1 all day in the classroom or in the backround for routine care needs, personal care, medication regimes, emergencies and support with activities and break times. They support several childen to transport to and from school and provide an after school support function either at clubs, in the community or at home until parents/family are available. The support workers are comprehensively trained to meet the specific needs of the child. Such as a communication need, there are support workers trained in Makaton that can encourage and support a child in and out of school to develop their understanding and vocabulary.
