British Association For Music Therapy

The British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) is the professional body for Music Therapy in the UK. The BAMT website hosts information on how Music Therapy works including blogs, podcasts and information leaflets, as well as helps signpost how to access Music Therapy services, either through the Find A Therapist search tool or by getting in touch with the core team.

BAMT acts as a central point for information about Music Therapy, advocating for equal access to Music Therapy for all and promoting the health benefits of Music Therapy. In addition it works to provide both practitioners and non-practitioners with information, professional support, and training opportunities. It is also a charity committed to promoting and raising awareness of Music Therapy, and providing information to the general public.
