The Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Service provide a wide range of assessments to children and young people living with SEND. These are carried out using in-depth parental interviews, consideration of professional reports/information and direct observation of the child’s communication, interaction and play skills. A professional such as a GP, health visitor, therapist, teacher or social worker must refer children to this team.
