Ashmount School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and autism spectrum disorder. Pupils are educated in mixed groups within each key stage. The school provides a modified national curriculum, specialised teaching and a therapeutic environment. They offer a total communication environment, which includes speech/language therapy, Makaton, PECS and symbol systems.
