External Engagement Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver external communications and engagement activity that strengthens BeyondAutism’s public profile, sector influence, and organisational visibility. As External Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in showcasing our work, amplifying our expertise, and supporting engagement with key audiences including educators, sector partners, policymakers, and supporters.
You will contribute to the development and delivery of external communications, campaigns, and engagement initiatives. Using strong writing and storytelling skills, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of content across multiple channels, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with organisational priorities.
You will also identify opportunities to raise BeyondAutism’s profile through sector engagement, thought leadership, and storytelling that demonstrates the impact of our services. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help translate insight and expertise into compelling content that supports influence and reputation.

- A dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who shares our mission of improving outcomes for autistic children and young people.
- A strong communicator with excellent writing and storytelling skills, able to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for a range of audiences.
- Someone who is proactive, organised, and confident working across teams, with an interest in raising organisational profile, supporting sector engagement, and contributing to high-quality external communications.
