Fast Responder BCBA (pilot project)
Full time, temporary contract
We are seeking an experienced BCBA (or candidates with significant experience of Behaviour Analysis in education) to be our Fast Responder. Full induction and training specific to this role will be given.
Over the last seven years, the number of autistic pupils excluded from schools in England has more than doubled.
BeyondAutism is piloting a new and unique service to schools, trialling crisis response to provide specialist immediate intervention, support, and wrap-around services as required.
The role is being funded by City Bridge Trust, the City of London Corporation’s charity funder, which gives out over £25 million every year to good causes across the capital.
The successful candidate will have experience working in Key Stages 2 and 3 in a range of settings (including mainstream education). We are seeking a qualified Behaviour Analyst who has knowledge and experience of working with support networks in education and with professional teams who typically support autistic children.
The role will be based at our London Charity offices in Vauxhall but will require significant travel.
The contract may extend beyond the six-month contract depending on the success of the pilot.
We are particularly seeking applications from people that represent the diversity of our community.
BeyondAutism is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced disclosure will be conducted for the successful applicant.
