Empowering People, Launching lives
Below you can see feedback from some of the parents and carers who have attended the service.
The Early Years’ Service was set up in 2017 and has since supported dozens of families to achieve their own goals through a personalised programme.
“[My son] used to do a lot of lying down on the floor not doing anything and now he is more into his toys, into his books, all those things are massive for me. Because bottom line you want him to be interested in the world around him. I can see the changes in him, being more into interactions with me, with his dad, I saw a change in him for the good.”

“I think that it’s amazing because by the end of the sessions they know exactly what your child likes and what your child doesn’t. Our Tutor was able to engage [our son] in activity immediately which was quite unusual because normally he would cry and wouldn’t be comfortable with an unknown person. It was a friendly environment, she followed his lead at first before applying some behavioural techniques, teaching him what he needed.”
Marina, attended with her 2-year-old son after seeing the value of ABA first-hand in our ‘Introduction to ABA/VB course.’ Read more from Marina.
“It’s been amazing to watch therapists build a relationship with my child and teach her, lead her to communicate by following her motivation. These workshops have set a new quality standard for me.”
“I take with me new knowledge and ideas to encourage [my daughter] to communicate and follow instructions.”

“I found it a very positive experience, watching [my daughter] with the Tutors. Learning how better to communicate and meeting parents in similar situations was very helpful.”
