I am delighted to welcome you to BeyondAutism.

As a mother of a child with autism, I know how traumatic and painful the condition can be for parents and children alike. But I also know that early and intensive intervention, like the approaches followed by BeyondAutism, can make a real difference.

There is no magic cure for autism, but I have seen the fantastic progress so many children have made with a personalised VB programme. My own daughter started life with no communication skills, but today we enjoy regular telephone conversations and she is working on entry level exams, Asdan Silver Award and her bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

BeyondAutism has come such a long way since we started with just 3 children in a school hut a decade ago. We now have capacity for 60 children and are South London’s leading VB school, offering primary and secondary provision from ages 4-17 in a world-class facility.

But our ambition doesn’t end there. Because we understand that autism doesn’t disappear after school, we have an ambitious programme to provide out-of-school services, to extend what we do to support young adults, and to take Verbal Behaviour into the community.
