Ghastly ghouls go over the edge – Freefall: Who Scares Wins is a great success

2nd November 2016

Man abseiling

We had a great day last Friday at our freefall abseiling event at 33 Holborn. The event, hosted by Octopus Giving, ran all day and we had a total of 51 abseilers raising money in aid of our Tram House Appeal.

The abseil was Halloween themed and we had some fantastic costumes, ranging from witches, to Spiderman to the Village People (yes, all six of them!). Some of the highlights of the day included Jason Fox of Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins starting and finishing the day in style with the first and last abseils, our CEO Tracie Linehan abseiling as a witch and Head of Lower School Kieran Bird going down as a fairy!

The day was a great success and the fundraising total currently stands at over £13,400 with proceeds going towards the Tram House Appeal.

A huge thanks to Octopus Giving, Jason Fox, Over The Edge Adventures, TRAD scaffolding, Purelight Photography, Red5 Photography and to all who participated, volunteered, supported or donated for making the day such a success!
